It was with OMEGA’s maritime legacy in mind that the brand launched its Planet Ocean line in 2005. Today, the stylish OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer pays homage to OMEGA’s dive watch heritage. This model, with its scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, features a white ceramic dial with Arabic numerals and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. The white ceramic unidirectional bezel with OMEGA Liquid metal™ diving scale is mounted on a 39.5 mm stainless steel case. Other features include an alveol screw-in caseback and a stainless steel bracelet with patented extendable foldover clasp.
The OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Master Chronometer is water resistant to 600 meters / 2000 feet / 60 bar, and has a helium-escape valve. The OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 8800 at the heart of this timepiece can be seen through the transparent caseback. To achieve Master Chronometer status, it has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology).

The OMEGA Warranty
All new OMEGA timepieces purchased as of July 1st, 2018, come with a 5-year international warranty.
The following conditions apply if your watch was purchased before July 2018. From the date of purchase under the terms and conditions set out in the warranty, your watch is covered by OMEGA SA for a period of twenty-four (24) months, or thirty-six (36) months for watches with Co-Axial escapement, or forty-eight (48) months for watches with Co-Axial escapement and Si14 balance spring. The International OMEGA warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time the OMEGA watch was purchased ("defects"). The warranty only comes into force if the warranty certificate is dated, fully and correctly completed and stamped by an official OMEGA retailer ("valid warranty certificate").
