Description
Omiwatari is a mysterious natural phenomenon that occurs when Lake Suwa in Shinshu, close to Shiojiri, where Grand Seiko quartz models are made, freezes over completely in the middle of winter. This dressy model features a distinctive dial inspired by this phenomenon. The pale blue dial, reminiscent of the subtle sparkle of streaks of ice on a frozen lake reflecting sunlight, is combined with the diamond indexes and blue steel second hand to create a glamorous impression.
