Packed with symbolism, at its heart is the African Honeybee, the symbol of the Mandela family that represents unity and connection to the collective. Mandela’s own hand-drawn sketches of broken chains symbolize the triumph of the human spirit over adversity. At the base of the pendant is Mandela’s symbol of “life”. His upbringing in the Thembu tribe instilled in him a great reverence for human life from a young age and his family remembers his constant encouragement to enjoy life and approach it with endless curiosity. South African Peace Lilies represent Mandela’s commitment to reconciliation. Mandela would repeat this “Invictus” quote on Robben Island to hearten his fellow inmates. Crafted from Metal Alchemist’s optimized, clean, energetically enhanced metal, this necklace promotes awareness, clarity, positive change, and alignment.
